Selective Pallet Racking is the most common type of warehouse racking; it has the lowest pallet storage capacity; but is also the lowest cost per square metre of racking. However, in terms of high volume storage greater than 3000 pallets it’s often the most expensive solution.
Layout: Selective Racking is only one pallet deep; with a maximum of two racks being able to be placed back to back.
Pallet Access (FIFO) : Selective Pallet Racking provides direct access to every pallet in storage. For low turnover volume & high differentiation product lines this type of racking is a must. This means it’s a First In First Out (FIFO) racking type meaning the stock added in first is also removed first, compared to Last In First Out (LIFO) systems. Which means that pallets are inaccessible until all the newer stock is removed. FIFO ensures that perishable or short shelf life SKU’s are able to be turned over effectively. Read more
Similar to other kinds of storage bins and containers, stackable bins are versatile, durable and work well as both storage and display fixtures. Similarly, just like other styles of storage bins, you can find them in different sizes and shapes. Stacking bins won’t crack, peel or break. They can be small; thus, don’t need the self-space of larger bins, and they allow you to make the most out of your display space by putting them vertically rather than horizontally. Read more

A cantilever storage rack system is a free standing rack system with horizontal arms extending out from a single vertical column. This is where you can store long or bulky objects that cannot fit in traditional storage. They can easily accommodate products like lumber, pipes or even rolls of paper and fabric. Because cantilever rack systems have no vertical obstruction, they create an opportunity for greater horizontal storage space. This arm rack system is effective for storing non-uniform products, including furniture, building materials, sheet metal, heavy duty metals, pipe, bar stock, appliances, rugs and much more. Cantilever racks can be manufactured using either roll formed or structural steel, depending on the capacity needs of the application. Read more

Cantilever racks are one of the racking system that had wide range of application for diversified storage and racking solutions. Cantilever racks are used for storing long, awkward loads that cannot be stored on traditional racking. Storage for long loads, such as timber, trusses, pipes or plywood, is a tricky business. There are not many available options to keep those kinds of items secure and accessible. The best options are floor stacking or cantilever racking. Read more
At times it gets very confusing to decide which shelving system and work best for Industrial storage racks and shelves. One should need to know the basic details about industrial storage shelves before proceeding with purchases of racks deployed for Industrial storage solutions. There are so many shelving manufacturers nowadays with different varieties of products. Let’s take a look at a basic types of racks required in many industries that can also be most suitable for Industrial Storage rack. There are so many functional applications for rivet shelving, you’ll have a hard time deciding where to use it best. Read more
For materials with little or no time sensitivity, a push back rack system permits high-density storage and flexible picking. A lift truck places each pallet on a cart, which is then pushed back by the next cart of goods stored in the push back rack system. The pallets in push back pallet storage racks can be stored up to six pallets deep. Push Back rack systems are available in structural or roll-formed frames. Push Back rack systems work by placing pallet loads on a series of nesting carts fed forward by gravity on rigid structural steel rails. Read more

Cold storage warehouses has to meet various storage challenges, most common being to maintain the right cold storage temperature in an energi efficient way to cut the operation cost. If we minimize the facilities footprint and maximize the storage density this will have direct impact on cost reduction of cold storage warehouse. Automated solutions and solutions that ensures high product density will give the best results to your cold store. Since cold storage square footage is so quite expensive mainly due to the land cost, cold storage pallet racking must be compact while still allowing ample storage. Storage density is always a critical factor for any cold storage since cold goods also help to keep nearby goods cold, reducing overall energy costs and conserving cold storage space for more items. Pallets are a essential component of any warehouse or distribution center. Metal pallets are Precision-engineered that are one of our most sought-after products. Metal pallets as compared to conventional wooden pallets or even lightweight plastic ones, metal pallets made out of high-grade steel are much more durable, safe and efficient.Pallets are the primary interface between the finished goods and the material handling equipment. The pallet’s integral role is often overlooked or minimized. It should not be. Read more
These are the modern day pre engineered warehouse termed as rack supported warehouse. When you erect the racks and then wrap the skin around them, the structure that you get is called as a rack supported warehouse. The racks supported warehouses uses the racking system as the primary structural support. In such structures one will not find any conventional structural columns, the walls and the roof are fixed directly onto the rack structure. This inside-out approach offers several advantages over a conventional warehouse, where there must first be a building before freestanding racks can be installed to accommodate storage needs.
